He is such a huge talent and his aerobic capacity is scary and it just continues to grow, Timmy leaves for the US on Friday with his fiance Belinda for his run at the 70.3 series, he's going to have another cracker season over there.

Clayton Fettell who decided to do this race last week started the drama by dropping the hammer on a 43min ironman swim he then punched into the lead on the bike with Macca and O'grady riding to a 4:38, Clayto has been steadily working on his run, he ran this race to safe pace and came away with a sensational 5th place and a 8:36 Ironman Debut and I couldn't have asked for anymore, at only 24 along with Berkel he has a major future. Any prosepctive sponsors should jump his ship soon. We are only on the very tip right now, He has a huge engine and it's just starting to warmup - his consistency in training is improving all the time and he is going to be one of the world best before long, a second at Wildflower (the worlds biggest half Ironman) and now this is no fluke.

Christie Sym had luck that went a little south for her. In true Sym style though she rocked on to a 6th place finish. Won't say more other than to say that others would not finish under the same circumstances so the fact that she can still place 6th is a good sign. Christie will work it out and get back to challenge for the win again soon.

Another big mover for us this weekend was Hayden Armstrong, Hayden flogged the 30-34 cat winning by 32 mins and placing 11th overall. Hayden is a very tough Tassie boy who runs his own business which makes his life tight but he manages in fine style. Hayden is again taking on Hawaii this year and looks a great podium chance if not better, great job mate.

Grant Jennings from Sydney had a great day going a 10:40, great effort for a bloke who is very new to the sport, he also had a slight stressy that kept him off his feet for quite a while so good effort all round.

Alvin Caoyonan had his first Ironman here this weekend too, Alvin did a great job going an 11:40, Alv also lost 18kg's in the process, great effort mate.
