Joey Lampre and Leon Griffen got out to a huge lead in the mens by over 10mins and Griff was very strong for the win, Joey had a bit of a tough run but easliy finished 2nd, in the last 5 weeks Joey has had a 6th at Port 70.3, a win at the Byron Olympic distance, another win at the Coral Coast Tri and a second at Challenge Cairns -big fella is ready for a breather and some platform again.

Ali Fitch had an unlucky day getting 2 flats and waiting 40mins for new wheel but she did finish and felt good which is a massive plus for Ali, she now has the confidence to start the push back to the top, Ali is on for Ironman Korea.

Jugganaught (Damien Davis) got a very strong 2nd in the 40-44 cat for 21st overall in the Half on his way to Ironman Korea, well done Naughtiless
