SMFA rules / Aeromax Juniors do well at Gatorade Race 1 - Raby Bay
Our juniors raced their second race of the season on Sunday. The juniors did well with SMFA (smiling faced assassin) Jessie Fleming winning the under 16 cat easily with a great run, Jessie is a great trainer and never misses a session and her improvement of late has been great - well done Jester. Greg Hall came 5th in the 16-19 age cat -which is kind of harsh when you consider Greg has only just turned 16, he had a great race and raced very strongly from the start. Alex Hackett and Lukas Flannery have also been on the improve and they both put together a very strong race in the under 16 cat. Paige Single gave her all at the Ballina Aquathon on Friday night winning easily and running an 18:30 for the tough 5km's, but she was a bit tired at Raby and raced open in a strong field of girls - she still managed a 7th place overall.
